Greengrocers and smaller shops (including pharmacies) are open Mo-Sat from 9am to 1pm as well as Mo, Tue, Thu and Fri in the afternoon from 4 to 7pm. There are also two big shopping malls in Bibbiena (open till 8pm) and Arezzo (open till 9pm). Banks are open in the mornings only and will close at 12.30pm. The nearest post office is located in Salutio, but it is closed on Wednesdays. Rassina has a very good bakery: Go straight across the Arno bridge, past the main street and take a left onto the next street, right before the bar. We can also recommend the farmers’ market in Rassina is on Wednesdays and the one in Bibbiena on Thursdays. Try the delicious parmesan cheese (parmiggiano), ricotta cheese made from goat’s milk, parma ham and country ham (prosciutto crudo) and sheep cheese (pecorino) at the cheese dairy (caseificio) near Talla: Take a left at the bank, another left at the next street and then a right toward the dairy. Also, their fresh tortellini and extra vergine olive oil are to die for.
